What would I buy with a $1000 amazon card if I could only spend it on myself?? Well, a bunch of stuff to help me keep up this real food and natural living lifestyle. It can get busy and there’s a lot of mixing and chopping and standing and after all that, the need for some ME time. Here are some things I thought of.

First, kitchen equipment. Anything to cut down my prep or cooking time. Here are some I use already and some I would love to have!

1. Because we try not to use the microwave much, THIS convection oven comes in handy! Reheating, baking, toasting, roasting. All in one.

2. We have a dehydrator but it’s old and not very user friendly. I’d love THIS ONE.

3.  I would also love to try out one of THESE blenders. I’ve heard a lot of great things about them and wonder how I could make it work for me.

4.  THIS high end food processor would be awesome to make butter in. It would be ready so fast!

kitchenapp

Next, I would look at how I could make my kitchen experience more comfortable and less stressful on my body. I’m still healing from years of neglect and not-so-fun medications, so I sometimes get tuckered out too fast.

5. THIS kitchen mat would be WONDERFUL on my feet! I bet any real foodie would LOVE to get one of these under the tree!

6. This batter bowl would be great for tired hands. The handle would make it far less stressful to pour.

7. I use my tablet for recipes while I’m cooking but it’s a pain to bend over it to read the ingredients and instructions. It would be great to have a cabinet mount like this one!

kitchencomf

And there might be a few things I would get for myself for AFTER I am done in the kitchen.

8. A nice chair massager like this one would be GRAND! Even a foot massager would work!

9. Organic Fair Trade chocolate…YES, PLEASE!! A BIG basket of it.

And last but not least…a few goodies to keep me thinking!

10. A billion books. OK, a doubt $1000 would buy a billion, but I sure have a big list. I’d probably get these first… LOST LAKE, THE BLONDE, and PANIC.

kitchentime

THAT is what I would do if I had a $1000 gift card to spend on ME! (To my husband: This can also serve as my Christmas list! {wink, wink}). What would you spend this lovely prize on if you could only spend it on yourself?

The fine print…

  1. I would do all of my Christmas shopping then clean out my amazon wish list. It’s filled with business and personal development books, and seasons 2-9 of Full House, of course.

Thanks for the opportunity to win! there’s a lot of fun gluten-free goodness to be found on Amazon, and I was just going to say I’d buy the VitaMix and cool bowl, but then you threw in the chair massager and chocolate – so how could I resist? I’d also throw in some supplements – probiotocs and more. Thanks again for the chance to win!

Wowsa! I would love a tablet, and the counter mount, and healthy food, a blender, OMG so many wonderful things come to mind. . . love the kitchen mat too!! However, the last six years has been really tough on my family, with the last year being the worst physically and financially. Emergency back surgery for my husband, permanent nerve damage, and loss of income. First, second and third degree burns for my son (arm, chest and face). Stomach issues for my daughter. And for me, a herniated disc, and two bulging discs among other things (to include surgery before the end of the year). We are at the end of our rope financially. This would be spend on Christmas gifts for ALL four of us, as there will be none otherwise. I could not spend this all on myself when we have all been through so much.

The vitamix would be amazing. I have POTS syndrome. I really sympathize with your story. I am almost healed by juicing and fasting. Now that I have resumed eating normally, I want to cut gluten from my diet. Winning this would allow me to continue my path to health, and it would be wonderful to improve my daughter’s health. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!
